Your organization page is a place where people can find running or past raffles in order to purchase tickets and check for past winners. It also allows your raffle to be exposed to the public as the raffle URL that is used for the page holds SEO benefits. Set up is simple and only takes a minute, so make sure you take a minute to customize the page.
Customizing Your Page
Let's take a minute to cover some of the features that are available to you in customizing your page. You will see on the top left hand corner of you have a few different options.
Save Draft: This allows you to save a working version of your Organization page that does not change the published version when you have a live page.
Preview: The preview function allows you a peak at what your live page will look like on different devices. Once you add images, it is important to preview the page to see how your design translates across different devices.
Publish: When you are done and have finalized your changes, hitting publish will publish the updated changes you made on the organization page. The organization page will become public as soon as you launch your first raffle.
Delete Draft: No explanation needed here. You don't like what you have? Just delete it and the next time you visit this page you will see the design of the live version of your Organization page.
Cancel: Clicking this button will erase any changes you've made on the page and take you back to the dashboard. So if you don't want to lose your changes.... make sure you save a draft.
One last note to remember! When you launch a live raffle... at that point you will be able to view your organization page from your organization account in your dashboard. You will see another option added to your organization account menu labeled " View Page". Until a live raffle in launched, you are only able to view the page from the customize page.
Your logo is important as you will see that it is automatically ported into any raffle page you create. We keep your logo static across the pages to be sure that people can easily identify your organization, allowing for quick and easy brand recognition. Edit the logo here and it will change across your raffle pages.
Your logo will need to be 170 px by 170 px. Understanding that not every logo image is square, doing your best to get it as close as possible to the ratio above will go along way to ensuring the image renders properly. As well, a .png image with a transparent background will go a long way to helping your raffle banner look professional and tidy.
It's definitely worth taking the time to do it right. If you need a easy program to help edit your images, our favourite is www.picmonkey.com. It's FREE and super easy to use.
To keep things simple, choose a banner gradient that matches your logo/organization colours or keep it a solid colour. The banner runs across the top of the page and helps tie things together for a simple look and feel.
Have fun designing!
